Account shows 'Auth Required'

Symptoms

  • Red badge on your account card
  • Messages not syncing
  • Gmail or Google Voice disconnected

Solutions

  1. Go to Accounts and click on the affected account
  2. Click 'Re-authorize' and complete the Google OAuth flow
  3. Verify that the correct Google account is selected during authorization
  4. If the issue persists, remove the account and add it again

Messages not appearing or syncing

Symptoms

  • Conversation view is empty
  • New messages aren't showing up
  • Old messages are missing

Solutions

  1. Check your account status on the Accounts page — re-authorize if needed
  2. For Google Voice texts: make sure your Takeout data was uploaded during setup
  3. For Gmail email: messages load on-demand — scroll down to trigger loading
  4. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back in
  5. Check your internet connection

Texts are being blocked or not delivered

Symptoms

  • Google Voice shows text as sent, but recipient didn't receive it
  • Delivery failures or rate limit errors

Solutions

  1. Ensure you're not exceeding Google Voice sending limits (free accounts: ~50/hour, ~150/day; paid Workspace accounts: 300-500/day)
  2. Use personalized, conversational messages — avoid generic or spammy content
  3. Remove URLs/links from messages, especially shortened URLs
  4. Ask recipients to text you back — this helps establish trust with the carrier
  5. Use a paid Google Voice account (Workspace or Google Voice Starter at $10/month) for higher limits
  6. Increase the delay between messages in campaigns

Campaign messages not sending

Symptoms

  • Campaign status is active but messages aren't going out
  • Enrolled contacts stuck in pending state

Solutions

  1. Verify the connected account is authorized and shows a green status
  2. Check that the campaign is set to 'Active' (not 'Paused' or 'Draft')
  3. Ensure enrolled contacts have valid phone numbers or email addresses
  4. Check the campaign's sequence steps — each step must have content
  5. Review your plan limits — the Plus plan has a 5,000 message/month cap

Contact import issues

Symptoms

  • Columns not mapping correctly
  • Duplicate contacts after import
  • Import failing or producing errors

Solutions

  1. Ensure the first row of your CSV/Excel file contains column headers
  2. Remove any blank rows above your column headers
  3. Check that phone numbers include the country code (e.g., +1 for US)
  4. For duplicate issues, use the deduplication option during import
  5. Try saving your file as a standard CSV (UTF-8) if special characters are causing problems

Page not loading or showing errors

Symptoms

  • Blank screen or loading spinner that won't stop
  • Error messages in the app
  • Features not working as expected

Solutions

  1. Hard-refresh your browser: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows)
  2. Clear your browser cache and cookies for my.leadpul.se
  3. Try an incognito/private browser window
  4. Make sure your browser is up to date (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge)
  5. Disable browser extensions that might interfere (ad blockers, etc.)
